3G Expo Round-Up

Monday, August 16th, 2010

Well, that was fun! Thanks to all the folks who stopped by our booth at the 3G Expo yesterday.

For those of you who couldn’t make it, here are a couple of pictures of the booth, along with Danielle Forrester and my friend Dan Allen. I was there too, but I was the one taking the pictures, so, um, I’m not in them.

You’ll note stacks of TSoG flyers sitting on the table. You can nab yourself a copy of the flyer right here if you’re curious.

“What are your religious beliefs?” I’ve gotten this question a few times now from a small number of people who’ve played the Telepath RPG: Servants of God demo. Others have skin in the game, so to speak–people with definite, already-formed ideas about religion and the existence of God who are trying to decide ahead of time if they’re going to like what I have to say with TSoG.

So far, I’ve given them all the same answer: “I’m not saying.”

Forum Issues

Wednesday, January 20th, 2010

Our old forum host has issued something of an ultimatum: all users must upgrade their forums by January 31st or face deletion. Unfortunately, the upgrade process is not working, and our host hasn’t responded to requests for technical support.

Right now, I’m looking into creating new, ad-free forums hosted here on the site for you guys. In the meantime, if there are any posts you want to save, now is the time to back them up! To help out, I’ve created a Fan Fiction page on the wiki to serve as a transitional home for all of the cool stories, poems, and game missions you guys have made.

In other news, my dad is home and recovering well. I’m back from spending a week watching over him, and will continue working on the game.

UPDATE: I’ve finally gotten the upgrade process working! The forums have moved to here for the time being.
