I had so much fun doing that Shining Force Let's Play that I've decided to make this a regular thing! With all the experience I gained from doing that series, I think I can do a pretty quality job on future playthroughs. (I'm using Fraps now, which gives better quality video and audio than XSplit, and I'm much better at commentating these videos than I was when I started.)
Thus, I've create a new Youtube channel called Sinister Playthroughs (http://www.youtube.com/user/SinisterPlaythroughs?feature=mhee). There's nothing there juuuust yet, but that will change! I've already recorded the first episode of a new playthrough; this time I'm playing Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. If you're interested in following the series, just go ahead and subscribe (http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=SinisterPlaythroughs), and Youtube should notify you when new videos are up. :)
I was wondering, does it take a really long time for you to upload videos? Or do you have really good internet service?
Yes, and no. :(
The first episode (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4ox_R3p4yY) is up! :)
And now, so is episode 2 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z11QoTaVRvM).
Episodes 3 and 4 are up--I've got everything in a playlist (http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLB661CB52375CF635&feature=plcp) now.
Episode 5 is up, and Episode 6 is uploading as I type.
Also: I started recording a TSoG playthrough. Why? Why not! Episode 1 of that should be up sometime before tomorrow morning. ;)
We're now up to Episode 2 of the TSoG playthrough and Episode 7 of the Fire Emblem one. Check it out! :)
Have a little more free time now, Craig? ;) You're puttin' up videos like a madman throws Cheerios: not one at a time but rather a steadily massive handful at a time. I still need to make it through your Shining Force videos.
Yeah, it's more like "as soon as I have free time to do them, I do as many as possible all at once." ;)
All right: the third episode of the TSoG playthrough is up!
Episodes 7 and 8 of the Fire Emblem playthrough are now up! :)
Aaaaand I've begun playing and commentating Homeworld. First episode is online: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXt1yS331vM ;)
Eeeek! Scary!
By the way, I tried out Fire Emblem, and I got to about the forest full of eldritch abominations and such where Artur and the other mage are found -- and then I realized that you make it look easy.

Where exactly can you find this game (For sale, that is)?
I own Homeworld from back when it first came out--I only recently decided to reinstall it. With a bit of tinkering, you can get it to run on Windows 7 without a hitch. You can still find Homeworld on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Homeworld-Pc/dp/B00001LDCK/ref=dp_cp_ob_vg_title_0) quite inexpensively. (I don't know why they're not selling this game on GOG or Steam--it'd probably do quite well.)
Once you've gotten through the first game, I strongly recommend nabbing Homeworld: Cataclysm (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004T77G/103-9266414-7492653?ie=UTF8&tag=wwwreliccom-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=1789&creativeASIN=B00004T77G) and Homeworld 2 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004T77G/103-9266414-7492653?ie=UTF8&tag=wwwreliccom-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=1789&creativeASIN=B00004T77G). All of them are excellent, and I intend to Let's Play all of them. :)
Homeworld is a great game! In every aspect. (I recall playing it at a friend's place when it came out.)
I have been inspired. I shall be getting a job this summer and
TPA2 and Homeworld are now on my hit list. I don't wanna watch the rest of your series although I know I will.
New Fire Emblem videos up! :)
Random thing: apparently the Homeworld IP was owned by THQ, and is now floating through space like so much asteroid debris: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2013/02/27/homeworlds-for-sale-and-supreme-commander-too/ (http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2013/02/27/homeworlds-for-sale-and-supreme-commander-too/)
Here's hoping that someone picks it up and re-releases it on GOG.com!
