Does anyone know how to get the orange orb and still have a happy ending?
There is a happy ending?
No, I couldn't find a truly satisfying end to that side-quest. I can end it badly and get the orb though.
Maybe it just wasn't done all the way through yet, or it could be an example of real life, when sometimes there are no happy endings.
Yea, I agree with the real life part. But what I end up doing is
blackmailing her into giving me the reward
. Something like that deserves a loss of personality, I would think. So I hope there will be alternative.

I did the same thing but I do remember there is a happy way to end and still get the orb or was that just my mind mixing up parts of the game.
Well, you could state the happy way to get the orb and we can decide if it's just your mind mixing things up, I mean, right now we have nothing to work with.
Oh yea...
you can just ask him to leave (you have to do it before reading the letters though)
But it's happy in a cultist sort of way.....
I say that that's a neutral ending, could be happier, methinks.
Yup thats the ending bittersweet sweet for you bitter for the dude who has to leave. But I'd rather take his gold.
Both Wadi and Mahboob deserve to be ripped off. I think that that Taking Wadi's gold, blackmailing Mahboob, then telling Wadi's wife anyway, is the good ending; they get the justice they deserve, you get gold, and everything comes out into the open.

That, ladies and gentlemen, is our typical "sadistic, yet very, very right" Steelfist. :D
Thank you.
Although, I think we can all agree that killing Wadi would be a little much, right?
Well, yes. And you wouldn't get the gold.
I love that ending it couldn't have been more right. We get an orb and gold and everyones else is miserable. :P
I am so glad people on this forum are logical, and their judgement isn't clouded by 'ethics'! :P

Bah, ethics, who needs 'em? :D
Ethics teachers! ;)
Ethics are the way through one lives their life. If you crush my ethics, you crush me. You crush me, I crush you under a life-sized replica of mount rushmore. Thus by crushing my ethics, you crush yourself. I go easy on Wadi but threaten Mahoboob because she lied to me on top of cheating with Wadi.
Oh, I forgot about this topic. Anyway, when I play it, I threaten Wadi and get gold from him. Then I read the letters and threathen Mahboob, and get the orb out of her.
I leave the innocent sister alone.
I think this is okay, because both Wadi and Mahboob did wrong, so I take from them. And there is no need to hurt the sister.

I do it because its the right thing to do. In ethics its right but doesn't seem right does it.

Take a second look I changed a word I miss-typed it.

Sorry. These posts are off-topic. Can we all erase the ones that we know are so KZ doesn't have to?
I would highly appreciate that- I'm sure Ert as well wouldn't wish to go through this thread untangling the resulting confusion!
(And then you can delete that last post as well, and I'll delete this one as soon as it's all done. Cheers!)
the best reward is 1k and orange orb right? or is it 2k?
To my knowledge since its been awhile 2k.
2k + orange.
You can get both!?!
2 k from Wadi, and orange from Mahboob.
Oh. Never mind then. I usually just make him leave. I don't make him pay. Right now, the game is getting boring. I know most of whtat to expect and there is no progress after you compete the partial "Rescue the Senators" mission.
How do you make him pay?
