Can confirm that it works now; thanks Craig!

Hey Craig, are you still letting people access the True Messiah rulebook PDF for free? The links I've tried on the announcement and rules update posts appear to be borked :(

But would that be as satisfying as honing the skills to create them, is the real question. ;)

Who's to say that the Reality Hole is malevolent? It has just as much a chance of kicking off a better paradigm as a worse one. Even if it ends existence as we know it, who's to say that's a bad thing? They've got unicorns over there in nonexistence, and all sorts of other cool things!

Thanks, Craig! My friends and I are sure to have a great time before the Reality Hole opens and swallows us all now!

True Messiah / Re: Rulebook update

Neat! Though the rumored backstories of the messiahs explain their playstyles and starting abilities well, I greatly appreciate the room for personal interpretation, as their origin stories are, in the end, legends.

However, despite Red, Black, and Violet's believable origin stories, I feel that White's description sort of overshadows them, being the most shrouded in mystery, open to speculation, and tinged with the supernatural. Though if there's a better way to explain why he has a greater access to miracles, I don't know what it is.

EDIT: Upon watching your True Messiah tutorial videos, it seems that part of my original question was answered, since cards do not appear to be faction-specific (though please correct me if I am mistaken). However, the core of my question remains - are there any mistakes you might expect beginners to the game to commit, such as agreeing on an alternative turn order and playing that way, that may break the balance of the game? Are there any repercussions to playing out of the specified Red-Black-Violet-White order?

Also, when you say "78 miracle cards," do you mean 78 unique miracle cards, or 78 miracle cards total?

Finally, who made the art? It's beautiful!

True Messiah / Re: True Messiah now on Kickstarter!

WOOHOOHOO! Excited! No worries about the project not getting funded - my belief in its success will manifest itself! By March, I might even be able to help in the Kickstarter. Third time's the charm!

Any updates on True Messiah? As I mentioned before, the concept intrigues me greatly - please don't keep us in the dark, Craig! ;)

TRPG2 / Re: Shadowling Sprites
January 02, 2013, 12:57:38 PM
My favorite Shadowling sprite has always been the Shadowling Guardian because of how cool and unique their bone masks make them look.

My second favorite is Tastidian, thanks in no small part of his cool glow.

Festus is my third simply because of how pleasing he looked to the eyes when compared to Darkling or Shadowboxer, in my humble opinion.

Granted. The corruptions get better, and thus, worse. You've managed to make everyone miserable whilst not even existing. Congrats, Buggy.

I wish I hadn't almost forgotten to make a wish.

Granted. Your vision is fuzzy for as long as you have vision.

I wish for turkey on rye.
