As it's name suggests, this will be a sequel to Hell Quest.  Before any of you start anything story wise, I would like to get a list of everybody who plans on joining into the story.  It will be in the same format as the first one and this time instead of starting with the story, I would like to start with character planning.

So, here's a simple form.  Also, you can all create up to 2 characters to par take in the story.  Unless the majority objects of course.  Try to keep all characters having different personalities (aside from your 2, they can have similarities)
Character Creation
Name:
Personality: (so other people know how to use your character)
Likes: (a basis for what powers/ weapons you will eventually come by)
Dislikes: (a basis for what causes your character to fall into a fit of pure rage [beast mode!])
Motives: (like personality but geared more towards what your own plans for your character are)

This story will NOT BE USING the same characters as the last one.  You can use the same name and personality, but memories and events will not be carried over.  This story just takes place after the events of the first one.  (Although if you can create a backstory that explains how you were reincarnated into hell then that would work) and yes, Fac *dodges pillar of fire* is satan.

in addition to this, once i officially start the story with an opening post (like before) everybody will start off separately and slowly gather together.  In this stage I would ask you all to not use character control unless a person hasn't posted in a day or so and the story feels like it's starting to pull together once some/most/all of us are "partied" then character control is allowed and encouraged, like before.

Since the last story sort of got jumbled up and people jumped around and stuff I decided to make a sort of chapter list.  My plan is to create an "opening" as each chapter starts.
Step 1: Character creation
Step 2: Opening scenes
Step 3: Gathering
Step 4: Empowerment
Step 5: Confrontation
Step 6: Defeat
Step 7: Escape
Step 8: Return
Step 9: ??

My characters
[spoiler]
Name: Rainen
Personality: Born leader with a mysterious history.  He appeared in Hell in a very unnatural way, in a flash of light.  The tortures of Hell have changed him and they have removed a large part of his easygoing attitude. He is now seen as a bitter shadow of his former self
Likes: Fire, sharp objects that can be used for stabbing
Dislikes: massive amounts of small creatures, being patronized and belittled.
Motives: to restore something that was lost

Name: Jace
Personality: A smart, and rather young denizen of hell who has always dreamed of escape.  He has gone through countless cycles of torture in the pits and renewal via the acid baths, a created of the devil which heals the victim physically while inflicting excruciating pain.
Likes: blood, revenge
Dislikes: deceit, control
Motives: to escape and wreck havoc on the lands that have imprisoned him.

Forum Games / Intimidation
July 03, 2011, 03:41:16 AM
Alright so I was talking to a friend and then we got to talking about Teal'c from SG-1 and his badassery (yes that's a word now.) and so it got me to thinking, just how intimidating can words be when they aren't backed up by anything?  And so this topic was born.

TL:DR think of/find intimidating phrases and post them here.

to start things off: you have exactly 12 hours to remove yourself and all traces of you from civilization before i find you and remove your ability to live.

General Discussion / Re: My New Religion

I concur. I also find this religion offensive to me and my ways of deism.  God(s) do NOT take part in our mortal way of life.

Rained suggested a bad TV show is right, but thats besides the point.

hey SG-1 is a very well written show.  If you like sci-fi then you have to like SG-1

BLTs taste good due to the combination of bacon, lettuce, and tomatoes.  Said goodness can be increased with the addition of cheese and mayo.

topic: What's that smell?

I'm sorry.  You apparently don't understand the fact that when I posted that stuff about what's happening in 2012, I clearly stated, multiple times, that I don't remember where I saw it, I don't remember if it's all 100% accurate, and well that's pretty much it.

And for your information, if any of my friends were actually smart enough to list any of the things i mentioned, I would probably interact with that person on an intellectual level instead of just letting lose and doing whatever it is i want, no matter how moronic i may feel.

You either choose to ignore the fact that I mentioned that my information may not be accurate, and the source of such information is unknown, (frankly, I find it irrelevant on the grounds that this is a game based forum) or you, like others before you, are just obsessed with constantly throwing out everything I say or do on an intellectual level. In which case I say, welcome back Presentiment.

I'm sorry, I said "google it" assuming you had enough common sense to know to use discretion when searching through google.  I guess common sense isn't as common as I thought.

I don't remember exactly where it was I heard about all of these, most likely I heard about them from a variety of sources, but you can simply Google them and I'm sure you'll find more concrete facts.  As for whether or not your belief in the matter matters to me, well take a look at your last few posts.

Yea and there's proof of it happening around the mid atlantic rift.  Theres a rock called magnetite (and maybe something else, it's been awhile since i read the article) and the crystals point north like the needles of a compass.  It goes in bands,in one band the crystals point north, in the next band the crystals point south and the pattern repeats itself.
