Ham Sandwich RPG / "To be continued?"
April 15, 2010, 01:37:01 AM
Will the Ham Sandwich RPG project continue after TSoG is done? I' am concerned because the game was very short, will there be more???

Pssst, don't tell the moderators, but this is really a coverup for "What is your favorite color?"! :D But seriously, this thread asks you when you like Shadowlings best, answer truthfully, for this is no "What is you favorite color?" thread. ;D For instance, I like Shadowlings when they are blue, since they are the most serious, and sometimes most powerful, at that age. Plus, they look cool.

General Discussion / What is your motto?
April 06, 2010, 06:33:59 PM
My motto is, "As long as it doesn't happen to me, I can laugh at it," feel free to post your motto here, unless this gets deleted for being off-topic and somewhat pointless, but really, there's nothing I can do about that.

Update: I will now give out the "Clever Motto of the Day" award to whoever I think has the most clever motto.

TRPG2 / The purpose of the spin saws after Flint
April 04, 2010, 10:32:48 PM
I have played Telepath RPG Chapter 2 just a minute ago, and I found out what to do if you have a spin saw after giving it to Flint. The Shadowling that is very angry with you if you wander into his home is usually of no purpose, but, if you have a spin saw, he will offer you 1000 gold for every spin saw you find. Hooray for discoveries! (Nobody yell at me for this if a topic like this was made on the old forums, just kindly explain this to me, I don't check those forums very often, and if anyone has known about this already, they should have posted a thread like this by now.)

Which main character do you like better, the Main from TSoG or TRPG2? I prefer the main character from TRPG2 because he looks cooler than the one from TSoG, however, the Main from TSoG has elemental powers on his side. (I just love Nightmare Shield and Dark Vortex! :-*) So they both have special features, but, in your opinion, which do you like better?

When I finished Telepath RPG Chapter 2, I only had few living teammates after the Nelis battle, and I could never survive the Dean battle, so all you TRPG2 players, did your party make it out of the battle alive, or did some/all of them not live to tell the tale?

TRPG2 / Shadowling aging process
April 03, 2010, 01:41:50 PM
I see that most Shadowlings in Telepath RPG Chapter 2 are red. While that would make sense if they didn't age, there is evidence that they do age and change color as they do so. I believe that that should have been changed, since General Darkeye and Darkling seem like they are years, or even decades apart. Another Shadowling that was red when he should have not been is Hellion, he seems almost the same age as Tastidian. Perhaps it was that the game was rushed or the Creator simply didn't have the time or patience to add in the Shadowling aging process. However, I don't mean to say that the aging process was completely overlooked, some Shadowlings with signs of aging are Festus, Tastidian, and Lala. While there are aged Shadowlings in Somnus and the military, there should have been more with changed colors.

I feel bad even mentioning this, but this is a ridiculous, and ridiculously hard, idea for Sinister Design, are you ready? A Telepath RPG or Psy Arena MMO. I know this is an insane amount to ask for, especially with TSoG not even finished yet, but come on, in my vision it looks brilliant. I'm not expecting it, or even asking for this to be done, but that would sure be a massive change to Sinister Design. (However, if the Creator wanted to, he could use the leftover money from games like TPA2 to fund it, and perhaps players are willing to make donations?) Tell me what you think of this idea, my fellow community members!

Telepath RPG Chapter 2 was an amazing game, awesome gameplay, consequences that make you care, and on top of that, a great looking main character. One thing that I would suggest for Telepath RPG The Servants of God, seeing how huge it is already, is multiple factions. (Mechanics, Helenites, etc.) This might change the story in a way and give players an even bigger reason to try the game again. Another thing is, the faction you chose can help you destroy the Cult in the end of the game, just like the desert clans. Also, whatever your choice is, please explain your answer.

I chose maybe because, while I would like to see certain factions, it may be overcomplicating things. Still, it would be cool and would make the game an even more memorable experience.

I know this is similar to the "Shadowling Healer Teammate" thread by im2smart4u, but I mean another Shadowling in general. Also, it may be a bit of overkill after you get Malis, but what the hey, Telepath RPG Chapter 2 had three (or possibly four, depending on your choices) Shadowlings, so one more can't hurt, can it? So, what say you, members of the Sinister Design community, should or shouldn't there be another Shadowling teammate in Telepath RPG The Servants of God?
