TRPG2 / Re: The purpose of the spin saws after Flint
April 05, 2010, 12:08:44 AM
This is actually more of an explanation for players scratching their heads and not knowing what to do after getting the spin saw and giving one to Flint and then getting another one, not as much as a "discovery" as a message to players in need of gold, thanks for the advice, though.

For the heck of it, we could call him Duskling.
That is actually pretty funny, since there already is a Shadowling in Telepath Psy Arena 2 named Duskling, I made my username in hopes that there is no Shadowling with this name, but I just checked on the Telepath RPG wiki, and there is. *Spits* Should've named myself "Shadeling," no wait, that's taken too! :D

TRPG2 / The purpose of the spin saws after Flint
April 04, 2010, 10:32:48 PM
I have played Telepath RPG Chapter 2 just a minute ago, and I found out what to do if you have a spin saw after giving it to Flint. The Shadowling that is very angry with you if you wander into his home is usually of no purpose, but, if you have a spin saw, he will offer you 1000 gold for every spin saw you find. Hooray for discoveries! (Nobody yell at me for this if a topic like this was made on the old forums, just kindly explain this to me, I don't check those forums very often, and if anyone has known about this already, they should have posted a thread like this by now.)

However, I started a new game (not a New Game +) on brutal and (after some grinding and strategic knowledge) I was able to beat both battles with all team mates alive.
Wow, I would like to congradulate you, I never made it through the Dean battle, and only myself, Darkling, and Shadowboxer survived the Nelis battle. (And that was only on easy!)

will it require slash level 2?
What level of Slash WILL it require? Because I have Slash level 2 with Griffin, or it hasn't been formulated yet?
When the attacks are formulated it means we put them in a list to be suggested to CraigStern.  Just because an attack or enemy is formulated, doesn't mean it will be put in the game.
Very sorry, I'm not familiar with these forum terms yet, as I' am still new around here.

For those of us that went against humanity "NA" would be the appropriate choice.
It's been added, anything else that I should add? (Not meant as an insult, rather, as a simple question)

Which main character do you like better, the Main from TSoG or TRPG2? I prefer the main character from TRPG2 because he looks cooler than the one from TSoG, however, the Main from TSoG has elemental powers on his side. (I just love Nightmare Shield and Dark Vortex! :-*) So they both have special features, but, in your opinion, which do you like better?

When I finished Telepath RPG Chapter 2, I only had few living teammates after the Nelis battle, and I could never survive the Dean battle, so all you TRPG2 players, did your party make it out of the battle alive, or did some/all of them not live to tell the tale?

Thank you very much for clearing this up for me, I really don't consider the Old Forums much often :-[

TRPG2 / Shadowling aging process
April 03, 2010, 01:41:50 PM
I see that most Shadowlings in Telepath RPG Chapter 2 are red. While that would make sense if they didn't age, there is evidence that they do age and change color as they do so. I believe that that should have been changed, since General Darkeye and Darkling seem like they are years, or even decades apart. Another Shadowling that was red when he should have not been is Hellion, he seems almost the same age as Tastidian. Perhaps it was that the game was rushed or the Creator simply didn't have the time or patience to add in the Shadowling aging process. However, I don't mean to say that the aging process was completely overlooked, some Shadowlings with signs of aging are Festus, Tastidian, and Lala. While there are aged Shadowlings in Somnus and the military, there should have been more with changed colors.

When and if I lose in the map editor, it just shows the map without any enemies and doesn't let me go back to the menu.

the main problem, money.
Like I stated before, Sinister Design could use money that came from TPA2 and make a special edition for TSoG also, but it still might not be enough, and, like I said, some players might be willing to donate some $.

TSoG / Re: What is your Elemental Affinity?

I've made many mistakes, so looking over them and not making the same mistakes all over again seems wise to me. (Also, I make a save for each elemental character)

I feel bad even mentioning this, but this is a ridiculous, and ridiculously hard, idea for Sinister Design, are you ready? A Telepath RPG or Psy Arena MMO. I know this is an insane amount to ask for, especially with TSoG not even finished yet, but come on, in my vision it looks brilliant. I'm not expecting it, or even asking for this to be done, but that would sure be a massive change to Sinister Design. (However, if the Creator wanted to, he could use the leftover money from games like TPA2 to fund it, and perhaps players are willing to make donations?) Tell me what you think of this idea, my fellow community members!
