TSoG Wish List / Re: Somnus Wishlist

While I do think the Hero's team should be able to train in the desert headquarters with the rest of the Resistance, I don't see the point in having a trainer in the psy academy or Somnus.
I think places like Somnus and Psy Academy are highly respected "Psy" places so they should have teachers that are able to train you.

Quote from: SmartyPants on November 22, 2011, 04:30:21 PMIn TRPG2, I found that it corny that Malignus allowed the Hero to replay battles of the past.
This is just for convenience so you don't need to restart the game every time you want to play certain battles you fought and won in the past. Good for experimenting unit combo, attacks and stuff.

Quote from: SmartyPants on November 22, 2011, 04:30:21 PMArena battles sound like a lazy method for game makers to add more battles/levels without expanding the story or setting.
It doesn't have to be arenas, I am just trying to suggest some events that I think should be in Somnus. Since Somnus is a large city it should have a variety of events or things for you to do. Doesn't necessarily have to be related to the main story. In other words, harder side quests.

Quote from: SmartyPants on November 22, 2011, 04:30:21 PMI prefer to play TPRG2 battles in TRPG2, and playing TSoG battles in TSoG. Stick with new battles.
Agree with you on this... I made a mistake saying TRPG 2 battles, I meant some unique way (eg. battles) to tell the main characters the detailed history of events in TRPG2 since the two games seem to be highly related.

Quote from: SmartyPants on November 22, 2011, 04:30:21 PMHidden Teasure Chest are always fun.  They are more fun when they are a challenge to find or open.

Quote from: SmartyPants on November 22, 2011, 04:30:21 PMI think Jack is dead by now.  Also, why would Jack still be in Somnus after the Shadow War?  Personally, I don't care for the card games.
I don't know about Jack being dead since Anya isn't and their both human at around the same age in TRPG2. It doesn't have to be card games it could be something that makes him show up. Since we are already making some characters that are in TRPG2 show up.

I think he will add it soon.

Don't know if people still read this thread but here are my suggestions:

1) A possible place to train (maybe do a mission before this is allowed), should also be one at psy academy.
2) Have something like Malignus, where if you reach a certain level in psy power (maybe around 45-60), your allowed to meet him and replay battles you have already played. Though unlike telepath rpg 2, you should make it so that you can only replay battles you have beaten before.
3) A mini telepath rpg arena involving the best shadowlings competing and maybe a orb as an award if you win. (maybe also one for psy academy or other areas)
4) A place that allows you to telepathically through your mind to go through battles that were fought in telepath rpg 2. The purpose of this is allow a unique way for the characters to understand what happened to the queen. I don't if this will interfere with the current story because I think yawah might be the main character from rpg 2.
5) Hidden Treasure Chests.
6) 'Grandfather' Gamblin Jack who will psy duel you.
7) Bank where you can by Bonds!!! like in rpg 2, make it up to 30 bonds this time. (maybe in Rivanale instead)

Anyways those are what I want to see in Somnus or maybe some other place.

*No longer encounter any battles in the great forest

Just out of curiosity, what is your hero's aptitude? (The higher it is, the lower the chances of running into a battle there.)

Ok thats why... My hero is lvl 35 in aptitude. Sorry didn't know.

When you just arrive at somnus. Move to the top border, then to the topleft corner, then to middle left border, you can no longer enter the new added area to the left no what you do unless you exit somnus and reenter. This also applies to any stairways as well. It seems to disable you from going any other scene except leaving somnus.

This is not be a bug:
*No map for crypt 3?
The following are bugs for the latest version of the game.
*After I complete Sharif Mission, I go talk to him again and click done I end up in the world map instead of Baz Manor.
*In Rivanale, the Docks area, I go to the left most house and to the stairway at the bottom left corner (where to enter I have know the pw "black*****" not going to disclose the whole word). I select the following options: [Open the door.], [Say something.]. The dialogue disappears when it should show a text box for you to be able to type the pw.
*Also in the Docks area if I go down towards the path that lead to rescue laborers mission in the following manner: First go to the left side of the path, go down until you hit the wall and then walk right toward the path, the dialogue with "The labor are has fewer laborers...etc" appears and I click done, the dialogue disappears and reappears before I have any time to move and does this continuously each time I click done.
*No longer encounter any battles in the great forest
*Game options when I turn level shadows off and then on, the shadows won't appear again until I go to a different area.
*right when I arrive at somnus. First move to the left border of the map, then move up to the middle part of the map on the path leading to the left area. But the screen won't arrive to the next area unless I move to the right.
*In Rubat I am pretty sure you don't want this to happen:

TSoG Walkthroughs / Crypt 3 - Complete Walkthrough
November 16, 2011, 06:47:33 PM
I have completed the Walkthrough to crypt 3. Check it out http://telepath.wikia.com/wiki/Crypt_Walkthrough.

I am only missing the amount of gold that is in the treasure chest in the basement of crypt 3. Can someone add that or tell me please. Thanks.

I checked my version it is the same v1.803. I restarted the game and played it again on brutal mode and bought the scorpion and now it is there for some reason. I guess maybe it was because the saved game gave some problems. Thankyou for your help.

Also found another bug:

- In Rubat talking to the clan guard who says "I have my eye on you, city-dweller." I click done there is no effect I am stuck in the conversation.
- Also battles like this shouldn't happen. My guy was blocked from the enemy I had to use light bomb and hit the tree in order to kill it:

While I was annoyed in TPA2 that the Hero's health maxed out at 99, I don't really see myself having that issue in TSoG with the current supply of missions.  Without gold farming, I could possibly see my Hero maxing out his health if I use a blood orb and I never upgrade Aptitude and Personality.

This is how I can tell you have been gold farming and overpowering your units:
*You can only tell the difference between difficulties in the ealier missions that don't allow you to spend gold on training your team.
*You can kill all your enemies and heal all your teammates in 2 shots.
*Your characters hp/psp hits 99.

Yes I am gold farming, but to me that is what is fun about the game. I like to train hard and fight a battle that is hard and feel satisfied after I win because I feel that hard work paid off. And to me 99hp and 99psp is too easy to train. I only need to spend a few hours and I am there.

I agree with you that you can heal all your teammates and kill your enemies in 2 shots when you reach 99 but I think that is because he has to make the enemy like that to not overpower the 99hp/psp limit.

Also I hope you agree that getting rid of the limit will not affect the game just by making the stats go above 99.

I am just looking for a reasonable answer why this hasn't been done like perhaps programming issues because I really don't see any harm done in gameplay.
