Come to think of it, I think I recall some extreme bible literalists stating that, according to the bible, the world is about 6,000 years old.

I'm terribly sorry to pop out of the blue, but please clarify for me. Where did any opposition of the theory that Earth is approximately 4.5 billion years old come from?

Clearly we have some very opinionated people on both sides of this argument. It's left me thinking a few things.

@Deagonx: Why did you bring up this topic knowing that as soon as you drop the "a word" the s*** hits the fan? It's kind of like drinking a bottle of bleach and then asking a room full of people, "Hey, want a sip?"

@SmartyPants: From the start, this topic's potential for resolution was an unfathomably small fraction of a percent. Even for free, I'd pull the plug on that. ;)

@(The entire congregation): Did you ever really think there was any hope that this would end well? (FYI: There wasn't.)

I've got one:

Obviously, with the presence of psy abilities, there can be no direct correlation, but roughly what time period are TRPG 1 and 2 intended to be set in?

TRPG2 / Maximum Stats? (McCullen's horrible fate)
« on: November 18, 2011, 10:00:04 PM »
Sometime in 2009 I was playing TRPG2 with a character by the name of McCullen, being level one hundred-something-teen with health and psy points well above 300. I revisited the game later and leveled up a few times to increase my psy power and defense. However, when I did this, I noticed that my PsP and health both became 99. I thought, "Is this some kind of glitch?" So I went into battle. Sure enough, they were really and truly maxed at 99. "Well, this sucks," I thought, so I quit without saving and refreshed the page. Repeat attempts to level also resulted in this odd health decrease.

Were caps on these stats implemented at some point in time? I simply can't think of any other reason for that to have happened.

Luxembourgians and Bulgarians live in Europe. The professor thought that they were giant flying monkeys. Then later realized that something must be right in this incorrect sentence. But no way. If the cake was Lemon, Sally and Harry should be lies too. Maybe he could understand this sentence, but, alas, he could not. For the price of a good story they fought their marshmallows with cheesy snacks. They won! Or did they? Perhaps they missed PSI Rockin' Omega. But then the cute smiley faced handsome rouge said "Let's all go away forever."

After all that crap,

The two fleshlings left. Once the major was certain they'd gone, he exited his office and hurried to the lobby, saying to the secretary, "Where is Mark Guelph?" "Currently, sir, he's in the Deeper Downs for training purposes," the secretary told him. "Well, get him back." "But sir, it will take at least three days for him to-" "I know that," Noxus interrupted, "Just get him back here. ASAP." "Yes sir."

As Noxus juggled the balls, he saw a poster announcing that there would soon be a trip to Somnus. "Learn about history," it said. "Huh. Not likely for me. I just got out of that place. I don't really want to go back, but it couldn't hurt to start the year looking smart by displaying my 'incredible' knowledge of 10th grade Shadowlands history. I'll have to think this one over."
