Video / Re: Let's Play Shining Force!

I just realized how many hours I spend grinding when I go back and play this game. At least the way you're doing it, it's a challenge...

Man, I loved Shining Force so much. (One of the reasons your stuff is so fun, obviously, with the similar battle system).

I once died and saw a "unlock the full game!" message in the lower left corner. Thought it was funny because I already had!

Does anyone else not hear voice-overs for the intro?

Yea I don't here any dialogue. Can't hear anybody's voice. Edit: Nevermind, it is only at the beginning in the jail scene. There does not seem to be voices for all the text. Perhaps it was meant to be this way?

Yeah... I'm wondering what is voiced, exactly?

I'm wondering if the cries of censorship on various communities are far-fetched. Still, the risk doesn't seem worth the "payoff"--there will always be piracy, no matter what bill gets passed.

I e-mailed my congressman/senators against it, anyway.

How do you feel about the Stop Online Piracy Act?

How old do you think she was originally?

I think 40-60 is a good guess for range, but I'd lean towards the higher end.

Qudssi still isn't counter-attacking

I didn't manage a screenshot, but some of Anya's dialogue was too big for its text box.

Being limited to eight is a game mechanics thing... realistically, he could do them all whenever he wanted, so I don't see that argument.

The mainstream Mormon church doesn't believe in polygamy anymore.

Do you have any more prejudice assumptions about Romney and his religion?

1. Brigham young would disagree

He's also dead. And this topic is getting both pretty off-topic and kinda offensive.

The White Capes from TPA2 didn't have mental resistance.  I imagine one would have to gain alot of wisdom to become a white cape.

That's pretty good proof that it's got nothing to do with wisdom, at least for me.

I'd argue that firm, genuine belief in something is more helpful to resistance than just being a smart guy.

And I'm speaking as someone very wise. >.>

Politics / Re: Romney vs Perry

As unfair as it might seem, a degree of charisma and coherence are necessary in a candidate, especially when going up as someone who can give a speech like Obama. Perry's performance in the debates hasn't been cutting it thus far.

We haven't see any devote believers in Anu, so it hard to say if mental resistance is caused by faith in Yawah or faith in genreal.

Exactly. The only "believers in Anu" so far are Duvalier's parents, and we know how big an emphasis there is on those quote marks.
