WOOT SPAIN
A day late, but i forgot after seeing the game
that was a violent match!
Currently tied with Zack for the title of Master of Light!

Tastidian

I haven't watched for a while.

KZ

Ah, shame on that, but heh, Spain have been long overdue all those titles- what with the amount of talent they have, so congrats to them.
A bit unfortunate that the match had to be so aggressive.

The World Cup matches usually are, with the final match being the worst. Its easy to say from the sidelines that they are being to violent, but they are competing for what is likely to become the greatest honor they will ever recive, for them and for their home country.

What about the Olympics?

KZ

That depends on the sport- not all sports are included in the Olympics (think cricket) and not all Olympic games are considered to be pinnacles of a certain sport. Even playing for tha national team can be an addendum, but not quite as prestigious as winning a local tournament- e.g. in tennis it's the Grand Slams which count, an olympic gold is nice, but it's barely talked about, only as a thing for "completion" in a way, and David Cup is considered a patriotic thing to do, but doesn't cause that much hype amongst the elite of tennis players, usually (at least, not these days).
