I play my best when it's Beethoven. I don't know why. I just do.

another thing that I have against Beethoven is that according to 95% 0f all sources he had something which sounds in the strictest medical sense like MPD (multiple personality disorder) don't counter that I don't know what that really is because I do, and refused treatment. And I am a strict believer in mental health.

Beethoven posioned his brain with his lead dinning ware and still gets my vote. Beethoven would also make a great name for a saint bernard.

How about John Williams? He wasn't a classical composer, but he does compose classical music.

CraigStern

Beethoven is brilliant, as is Rachmaninoff. I'm surprised no one has mentioned Tchaikovsky or Prokofiev yet. (Also, while I wouldn't argue that they're the best, I adore Saint-Saens and Chopin.)

bugfartboy

Wow. I got stuck at the link to YouTube from Beethoven. I got lost in his music. I'm going to need to be AFK for a while. Thank you Craig.

I like Saint-Saens, especially his organ symphony no. 3 (I'm playing that one), and I like bach for his cello suites since I play cello, but my favorite is probably Rimsky-Korsakov just cause of Capriccio Espagnol and Dance of the Tumblers from Snow Maiden, though my opinion is subject to change as I play more professional music by a larger variety of composers.
...For I am his, and he is mine, bought by the precious blood of Christ.

Anyone want to find the rest of the words?
