who and where is dayn
In the bar. He gives you 67 gold.
Dayn (http://telepath.wikia.com/wiki/Dayn) is a drunk man who is in debt to his landlord.
You need a 14-15 Aptitude to get gold from him though
You mean 14 Aptitude?
The side-quest isn't finished though: it is quite possible that getting the gold from him initially may not be the best option (just to let you know, folks). There is strong implication that the player will have to find Dayn a job, and possibly get rewarded for it.
He is me.
So you are the drunk who is at the local bar and has money problems? :P
Yes. Beer anyone?
if you get drunk well trick you into paying us just so you know
I was wondering the same thing but I never actually talked to him well since I have a aptitude of 20 I guess i'll get some gold.
Who is Halam and why the heck is he there
There is a modify button. People like it when you use that instead of double-posting. ;)
Halam is there to show the distrust people have towards psys, I think.

Halam (http://telepath.wikia.com/wiki/Halam) is a Psy-hater.
Hmm, something bothered me about that conversation. How did Halam know that the player is a psy?

I've been wondering much of the same thing. Is Dayn a Psy himself?
It's possible, I had suspicions too, it just didn't seem right for some reason.
Unless he isn't aware that he is a Psi and merely thinks that he's good at reading someones face to see what they are thinking.
That's an amazing idea, I assumed that psys knew about it, but maybe some of them don't.
Thank you. That would be an interesting plot twist for the game.
who else could be a psy without knowing it?
Who knows. We don't really see anyone else with hints at Psi Powers without knowlege of it.
But maybe they just might have exceptionally good planning skills or something etc. I'll make a thread of this.
In a short story by Philip K. Dick, there are normal people, "Psi"s, and Anti-Psi s. The Anti-Psi s are people with the power to identify/neutralize the powers of/ in other ways negate the powers of Psi s. Maybe Halam is one of those...
