Don't you think there should be (a) chatroom(s)? I could be useful and interesting when lots of members are online.

No, just use PMs and posts in game. It works better, and it is more inclusive of all memebers.

That's the thing: it's too slow. And posting is only for a specific topic. Chat can be for anything.

Personally, I am against, as that will probably make folks use chat-speak even more, and it's already hard as it is keeping everything on the level so folks write in a neat and understandable fashion. Plus, there aren't that many of us at any given time online, usually, especially with the different time zones. Methinks it's not worth the effort in the long run.

hmmm... I used to play a game that had an external chat room. I found out how to make my own so my friends could talk to me on there (those that didn't have Hotmail or did not wish to give up their email)
I could look for it again... I think my old email still gets updates from it.
