Title: Mute and quality buttons
Post by: Ertxiem on May 12, 2010, 07:08:14 PM
I would like to have a "mute" and a "quality" button in the battle screen (perhaps accessed from a button next to the "?" in the GUI).
In longer battles, I sometimes get tired of the music and the only way to turn it off is disabling all sounds from my computer.
The quality button might be helpful if we forget to adjust the quality before the battle.

(I remember making this suggestion on the old forums. In my opinion, it don't have high priority, but it's a nice thing to have in all games.)

there's an accessible quality control in the menu bar, under view I believe.

Yep, but it doesn't give access to all the quality settings present in the menu when we're walking around freely.

I'll second Ert on that- certainly the mute button is useful to have, especially in longer battles. As for quality- could come in handy as well, as I do remember, for instance, in TPA2 some battles really lagging (depending on the units present on the map) and my lack of desire to start them again, if I try to ignore the lag for the first few turns. Plus, there is even greater lag if the game is played in full-window mode, so that can also come in handy.
