Well, what upcoming games are you excited about, and why?
Sonny 3. There's going to be an even better battle system, and possibly (all gasp) CHOICES in the plot!
Bubble Tanks RPG and/or MMO. I know it's coming.
Multiplayer Motherload.
Echoes: Act 2, your Marines will get Segways! :-[
Oh YEAH!!
And how about the next Elephant Game?
There's going to be a multiplayer motherload? Yay!
Anyways, I hope for a sequel to Sierra 7. Maybe the next Mardek chapter, not that I'm even close to finished with 2.
Skyrim.

Sorry.
Skyrim?
Elder scrolls V: Skyrim. I want to get it too :)
Echoes and Sonny 3. Particularly Sonny 3.
Infamous 2.
RAGE
If anyone has played Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas, Fallout isn't Beth's franchise, they are losing the rights to it very soon, Rage is their new post apocalyptic franchise.

Rage looks like it will be awesome, best-looking game I've ever seen so far.

You'd be right, if you were being literal (were you?)
They are using IDtech5 software. The latest graphics engine to date.

I was being literal, you could see every pore on someone's skin.
I know, I read about it in a gaming magazine about a year ago.
Um... TSOG anyone? ;)
But I love Minecraft
Elder Scrolls V
Saints Row 3
Arkadian Legends (continueing the saga of his awesome rpg restyled version of his tower defense games)
Minecraft is awesome. And I look forward to Elder Scrolls V too. Haven't played a good oldschool RPG in a long time...
Portal 2 is coming out any day. I've been saving my pennies. ;D
And of course I'm always looking for TSoG's release.
I've tried Minecraft. I've been talking my parents into to letting me get it. Sorry Craig. Minecraft is still better known. :/
The first-person controls stink, though!
Um, have you tried using a mouse with a mousewheel and keyboard?
also I changed <tab> to open inventory instead of <i>
Minecraft is awesome, until you accidentally fall into a lava pool and lose all your stuff. It becomes slightly less awesome after that.
Portal 2 sounds amazing, but I should probably wait until I've actually played the first one first. :P

Save your game?
Well, it autosaves, doesn't it?
I'm mainly looking forward to Skyrim, hopefully it's leveling system is better than Oblivion, Morrowind is, in my eyes, the best but who knows what the future holds for Bethesda.
Sid Meier's Civilizations V, not really upcoming anymore, methinks, but great nonetheless.

Since Oblivion they've had fallout 3 and new vegas to work on better leveling systems. Ideally, they'll have Oblivion's system of skills going up as you use them, but fallout's system of being able to choose whatever to upgrade after you level, regardless of what you did during that level.
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, no doubt about it.

You can press F5 to switch to third-person mode (though trust me, first-person is better, because in third the center is always behind your character's head.)
Yep. If I've heard right, there used to be a second person, but not anymore.
