Happening again (I think) I'll finish the map and post the replay. Won't "technically" finish it, as I do want to replay it, to beat them when they come after you instead of just each group waiting to be slaughtered on their own.

Unfortunately I can't provide a log nor screenshot, as the time it happened, I didn't know it was a bug... Played the Rescue Meridian map, and only the high level (new) troops from the top right after me. All the rest were stationary, will see if I can reproduce this.

Finally found out why the Rescue Meridian scenario was so easy for me the first time. For some or other reason the whole map didn't move to attack me, only the newly arrived, high level troops. Finished the scenario after a few attempts though, but lost quite a few people. Going to see if I can't do it without losing less before uploading the replay.

Could be a bug. Post some screenshots? As to using her, go ahead. She's quite useful. Just needs a bit of babying.

Okay so as a test, I'm uploading a replay of the Tavern fight. Please comment. Will post the link as soon as it's finished uploading (twoish hours from now). Don't worry, no commentary by me. No audio at all, so keep yourself entertained with your own music :P Will start uploading the Meridian one sometime tonight.

Can anyone confirm that loose bags get picked up for you? That would be a massive help in some specific instances. However, a move isn't really wasted, as it is a free action. I'm thinking here about defeating the last bunch of enemies and not having time to pick up the bags before the game ends the map.

And I've routed the map, but alas, no such special items. (Or awesome cut scenes)

If I'm understanding you correctly, that involves modding the game (and extreme modding at that) although, you could mod the mastery points in as items that would drop if you say, killed a certain character? Besides the point.

What I meant (mean) is that the challenges are things like, someone says they want to know if it is possible to do the Rescue Meridian stage by killing the map. Then i do it, and post the replay. (Yes, I do realize how egotistical this makes me sound) So, to reduce the ego rush, anyone else can obviously also do it and post links to replays in this thread. There's always more than one way to skin a cat, and always more than one way to do the impossible.

Hey, so as promised, a feed for all your challenges. Do note that I will be doing this with a new game and recording each map. So if you have anything you'd like to see done (wipe the Rescuing Meridian scenario for example) post it here and I'll see if I can get you a replay or something :)

To prevent getting off the topic, I'll start a new discussion with a new game that acts as a strategy guide / let's play. Probably before the day (I'm in GMT2+) is done.

I have perfection issues. So....

My strategy on how to kill the map.

[spoiler]Move to the first group, take them out (after waiting to restore the energy of everyone. Right. To the left of the mountain, just out of range of those four bandits(?) wait until those on the mountain come after you. Bait them to come to you, run with Emma/Sabby to convert Zimmer. Finish those that come after you. Restore energy and heal while on mountain, staying away from the lvl 6 bandits at the bottom. Then the guys from the top right should have been coming after you. fight them from the top of the mountain. Therafter the rest should all be stationary. While you're waiting to be attacked, kill any stationaries (the four bandits top left, the crossbowmen at the top, the guys at the bottom left, the two lvl 6 bandits.[/spoiler]

Yeah, I saw the general tactics advice. But seeing as nobody seems interested I doubt I'll start one. My inner perfectionist is going to create too much trouble >_<

So.... I might be missing something obvious. Can't find a main campaign strategy guide. If there isn't, would anyone be interested in one? Sun Tzu style, of course.
