Telepath Tactics Bugs / Misc issues
September 25, 2015, 08:38:13 PM
Here is a list of random issues I found while playing the game. Some of these might have been fixed with the last patch, so I think this was version 1.046?

White spriggot: Ice spells are missing the tooltip that say they freeze. The spell does freeze its targets, but it doesn't say it does.

Pyrokurios: The Advancement pop-up explains that the cost of pyroblast should go down; but this doesn't happen. This worked correctly on the light mage when he leveled however.
EDIT: I opened my save file to fix my equipment and found something interesting.
The light mage had this: ModCostForAttack,%:50:Light Blast
And the fire mage had this: ModCostForAttack,%:50
I edited that line and it solved the problem.

Allies cannot push or pull each other: The exception is that characters that start the match as enemies or neutral can be pushed normally after they join your side. Upon starting the next match, that character can no longer be pushed.  Not being able to push allies is kind of sad, because it seems like it would be really useful with all the push powers provided.

Equipment sometimes detaches at random: After spending considerable time in the equipment screen getting units the proper set-up, sometimes the unit will unequip their items for no reason. This happens rarely but it is annoying.

Sometimes can't manual save: Thank goodness the autosave always works. Sometimes when attempting to manual save, it will ask me to over-write the file. Pressing yes does nothing and brings me back to an empty save screen with no saved games. The file is not saved.  This occurs roughly every other level, but happens at random.

Negative movement speed: I once had Emma with -1/-1 speed.  I believe this happens if you use "sprint ability" and then immediately get slowed twice.

Conditions stack without limit: I don't think this is a bug, more of an oddity, but conditions don't seem to have a maximum number of them that can be applied. Characters can get 10x slowed and they become unmovable for 30 turns. That is a long time...
It also makes me wonder if the application of conditions is working correctly; Emma once got slowed twice, but had at least 6 counts of slow on her. I didn't notice this happen again however.  (This occurred on the bridge level against the black spriggots and black mages) .
However the shadowlings have a spell that applies conditions at random. They kept hitting Rebecca and in addition to slowing her for 30 turns, she had approximately -180% mental resist.
