Please share with us your attempts. Thinking about the wrong ones may lead us to the right one!

TRPG1 / Re: Is Noctus alive?
March 12, 2010, 05:32:12 PM
I don't really think that Tastidian was expecting the Main to go to the camp to rescue his brother, much less he thought that the main would be able to beat Noctus.
Remember that at that moment, the Main was simply unknown. If Tastidian thought that the Main had the power he revealed to have, he surely had made him a trap.

TSoG Wish List / Re: Training
March 12, 2010, 03:47:12 PM
Training at the Nameless One will allow you to learn new moves and new ways of unleashing your power. On the other hand, using (repeating) the same attack will make you more skilled at using it in the battlefield, refining your technique and dealing more damage at that specific attack.
Therefore, I disagree that the train we do at the Nameless One could be equivalent to the train we get when using an attack. And if you want to train an attack, just use it in a random generated battle.

TPA2 / The meaning of KZ
March 12, 2010, 03:39:52 PM
Here is the link for the discussion in the old forums about what does KZ stand for.
If you want to start that discussion again, I think it's better to do it in a new thread.

TRPG2 Walkthroughs / Re: Easy money

Correct. The dark spriggat is Malignus.
An alias of CraigStern.
If you want to get some gold, you can choose to fight the battles that give a better payment.

TSoG Wish List / Re: New attacks for teammates
March 11, 2010, 06:16:45 PM
A sniper shot was proposed on the old forums. I agree that's a good one for Rahel.
It was even proposed that, if that isn't too hard to implement, one could choose the square at which Rahel will aim (in an area of, say, range 5).

TRPG2 / Re: Revival by Nelis
March 11, 2010, 06:10:45 PM
It makes sense that that Nelis can (also) use the memories of the surviving team mates in order to track the soul of the person to be revived. Which brings a new angle for question 9: Does the person to be revived needs to be remembered by a psy user? Can Nelis track down the soul better in this situation?

About question 7, I agree that from the reactions of the persons revived in TRPG2 (and TSoG), they don't seem to remember anything about the time between their death and their revival.

I think everyone else is talking of the chest inside the last shadowling house on the right of the main street in Somnus. That house is a bit to the south (down) of Hellion and the chest inside requires you to have level 30 of Psy Power. The chest you, torugo, talked about (with 5000 gold) is to the east (right) of Hellion.

TSoG / Re: Spirits Return
March 11, 2010, 05:51:15 PM
Perhaps the cultists took the books to the crypts to destroy them away from the sight of the common citizens, because they didn't want to admit that those books existed. However, (some of) the ghosts in the crypts are spirits of the former librarians and they scared off the cultists. The cultists didn't bother to try to destroy the books because they thought that no one will be able to reach them anyway.

TSoG / Re: Classifying/Analysing Attacks
March 11, 2010, 04:42:55 PM
Another issue is the friendly fire option.
Are your evaluation the same if friendly fire is on? I like to play like that. It's more fair.
I think that cryo cross may be the worst attack in these conditions.
The way I see it, pyro hail is too similar to vengeance to be useful.
The best ones are dark vortex and light bomb. I prefer the long range attack, using the tanks in my team to hold the enemy in position and Rahel and Luca to get rid of the left overs.

By the way, what about vengeance vs each of the 4 elemental attacks.
Vengeance costs the least PsP and affects only 3 tiles, but you recover health. If you have a choking point in the map, it may be the best attack you have.

I saw the Main as male. Perhaps because I'm a male too.

TRPG2 Walkthroughs / Re: Effect Orbs

Yellow orb. The recover rate allows me to do more powerful attacks.
When I have a superstat Main, then I agree that the green orb may be more interesting.
