Here are my comments:
3. Shame on you, Niven! lol Teaching children to play with knifes! :P
5. Playing battles from TRPG2 might be hard, since the battle engine is different. It might be possible to play some battles from TPA2 (but perhaps Craig might feel that it will lower the value of TPA2). However, I think it's likely (and fun) to replay some of the previous battles from TSoG with teams having different characteristics. It could be a challenge to our strategic skill. KZ's idea is quite nice. Having the possibility of experimenting other elemental affinities might add some replay value.
16. The red spriggat might be in Somnus, or from a quest starting in Somnus.

All the ranged attack have a few friendly fire problems.

Before, what I meant to say is that the dirt throwing golem could appear only in maps without bridges.

Wish granted. We now have a ton of zombies laying around... and a very unhappy living cow: me!  >:(

I wish what I have to do was already done.

TRPG2 / Re: Revival by Nelis
March 07, 2010, 07:20:57 AM
I don't have much time to comment on the above posts. I'll do it later if possible...

I have another thing to think about:
9. Can Nelis revive anyone or only the ones that she was in contact with? I was thinking that Nelis might need to "record" a mental impression before the person dies, in order for her to be able to reach for the soul and revive that person. And for that to happen, that person might need to be some time near Somnus at the service of the shadowlings. Or perhaps Tastidian reported to Nelis that a certain person (or golem) was preforming valuable tasks to her service.

TRPG1 / Re: Is Noctus alive?

The Academy is probably located near some human cities. And the rulers of those cities wouldn't like to see humans kidnapped by other races and would probably declare war on the shadowlings, thereby bringing the Academy to the war.

General Discussion / Re: Email available

I was a bit worried since the spambots might try to harvest some emails while posting around here. I wouldn't mind if the forums regulars could see my email. Much less you and Craig!

I like the gliding archer idea.
Could he be propelled by the same source of energy that the golems use?

About the canon golem, I don't really like it that much... I think that the dirt throwing golem is a better idea. Could it only appear in places whithout water or bridges?

Another way to go was to make a version 2.0 of the existing golems. Like an iron golem with a spin saw attack of range 2 from both sides, like:

LL&RR
LLL&RRR
LL-G-RR
-G-: Golem
L: Places attacked with the left arm
R: Places attacked with the right arm

I tell Team Rocket that Pikatchu is on the hill. They made up a plan and try to capture him. Chaos follows. You and Team Rocket are zapped far away. Soon after, Ash appears to collect Pikatchu and the rest of his pokemons and leaves immediately to a tournament.
Now, I can calmly go up and claim my hill.

I added *ea to the forbidden endings:
*ea, *ia, *fy, *ic, *ky, *ly, *ll, *on, *ty, *um, *us, *xo
and all the other two consonant endings that don't start a word.

The search function is not working properly on the old forums.
It seems that searches are only made on posts made after the upgrade to the new version. That hinders the usefulness of the old forums as an archive.
Or perhaps it's just me doing something wrong...

Also, Ert: did you know that you can order the game on CD off BMT Micro? They burn it themselves at your request, then ship it to you.

Oh. Sorry, I forgot about that. Now that you mention it, I recall reading in the old forums that we could also buy a CD. (So, one less layer of virtuality! :) )
