TSoG Wish List / Re: Charachter ideas

Sorry, but I disagree. They don't need to know how to do it to be able to attack. It's instinct. They were a fighter in life and when they attack their ghostly medulla oblongotta tells their body what to do. Does everyone know how your arm moves? or how your eyes read this typing? No, but you're doing it. yes, they do have control. Are they aware of it? likely not. Jinns are primal ghosts, with no rational thought, yet they're able to persist.

Lets look at it another way. Who can do math? Mostly everybody. Who's really good at it? A lot less than before. Many people can use the gift, but they're not that "gifted" with it. Like the force. Juhanni didn't have the force at first, but she trained and trained and eventually was able to use it.When Rahel uses trueshaft she probably doesn't think about the gift at all in order to bend the arrow to her will. In fact, take a look at how one aims and shoots a bow. Do they pull out a calculator and figure out the wind speed, distance, angle and all those other things? No, they let their body do it.

shortsword
means it's not as long (and therefor not as heavy) as a full sword. The dagger comes in use for parrying. While you block the main attack you swing around with the dagger.
Though I find shield bashing much more useful.

What is a god, other than one being with unexplainable power?
She might think she's a god if she can cheat death.
Besides... it'd be an ultimate showdown of "good" and "evil" the light and shadow. I can just see the flash video now... the darks shadows creeping over the land, at first mere wisps like smoke, then forming over the land creating a dark veil shrouding the land. an owl blinks it's eyes in astonishment. It's slow at first, but a light appears. In the midst of a group of cultists praying a single flame stand against the shadow(the camera zooms in on this). Suddenly the flame sparks forth, illuminating the faithful. The camera swings back as the beam of light bursts forth. Then, the avatar of Yawah himself appears in the center of this golden beam, and points a gold-plated, Ancient-Egyptian styled find towards the darkest of the void. (S)he calls out in a booming voice, "Come forth ye foul creature and face the light!" A dark balls appears in the midst of the desert camp. It starts to swirl, and spikes break out. The spikes even out forming a large ball of shadow, with two so sinisterally designed sparks appear. "You asked for the Night, and now she is here." (a gelf shouts "Whooh go Nelis!" in the background)
And the battle of a millennia begins. The camera zooms out to show Set eating a bag of popcorn, which is sitting atop a static-shield-table.

so um... back to the topic. Yeah, I'd like to see more Shadowling Guardians.

A shortsword and dagger combo is rather good.

This is her over throwing it, she'll go after, Yawah will rain down fire and hail, while the resistance sits back, pops some pop corn, and watch the superpowers go at it.

Actually I was the first to mention RPS on the new forums... so I believe both of your ideas stemmed from mine. and I'm good, no need to ask me. I likely won't be here.

the gelf and their large collection of "soul capacitors" lol
And you thought there were just decorations when really the Gelf had a diabolical plot to bring back the queen. muhahahah.

Yes, but some people only want helpful hints. Not for us to say "look here, right here, now click, good job you got it."

TPA2 / Re: How does the Crystal Orb work?
July 10, 2010, 02:15:50 AM
the Crystal Orb temporarily transitions the user into the Ethereal realm, distorting their physical form momentarily avoiding any physical damage.

if we know where each team member sits we can figure out who'll they'll talk to, what "cliques" our team mates will get into. we can think of dialogue between the other characters... etc

you can stab with a cutlass, is just won't be as effective (unless you're very good at it, in which case a stab or jab would be very powerful). why not have two attacks, slash and stab? Slash costing some more psp but being more damaging overall?

None taken, Brom. I'm not really on the forums that much, I'm surprised I was even nominated, but it is an honor none-the-less.

I've always hired them (except the first time through I didn't have the money :-\)
I tend to opt out on having any shadowlings in my crew. Just to spite the queen... or if I used them I'd send them off in suicide attacks... I'd use festus though. Helena and Gamblin Jack make a good team. and Flint... well... he's just unstoppable.

lol, ah I see. Well I thought their "levels" could be based like the hero's (every 3trainings they gain a level (no random stat boost though))

and if Craig is going to do as much voice acting as I imagined, it would make it quite difficult to make the game immersible (if no longer went with "Duvalier")
