I think a spirit needs to a name to hold on to a sense of humanity.  Even if the name and personality of the spirit changes, the spirit won't turn into the animalist Jinn who is run by instinct.

Then why even bother changing the options? It doesn't have a negative nor positive effect on the poll.
About the Jinn thing, yes, I agree with you, Smart. It is mentioned in the game that a spirit only becomes a Jinn when she/he forgets her/his name. Since Luca only transfers from one name+personality to another, she will not become a Jinn. She still retains a name, anchoring her to a sense of humanity.

Actually, no, the demo still stops at the execution, but the new demo features:

Drugs [spoiler]Bought from the bottom left merchant in Ravinale Market.[/spoiler]
A new attack [spoiler]Called Mind Shock, has the ability to stun an enemy for a turn (stun chance percentage unknown)[/spoiler]
Some new dialogue.

I ate a packet, fought a random bandit battle, did the whole Arman side-quest and when I returned to report to Arman (when I stepped into Baz's house), it told me that the effects were over.

During the last mission of the Demo, where you use Arman to delay, the Guards will not attack you nor move if you don't attack them first, which makes the whole mission easy by just clicking 'Done' 9 times.

It's defenitely not a joke. Craig announced the updates on Facebook and the Sinister Design webpage. It can't be a joke. And the drugs are available in the demo according to Craig.

Same here. Waiting the 25 turns out at the Fernatus battle doesn't let you fight D'Kah.
