TPA2 Walkthroughs / GameFAQs
April 11, 2011, 06:54:42 AM
Interestingly, it seems that GameFAQs has added a TPA2 page: http://www.gamefaqs.com/pc/626224-telepath-psy-arena-2

For anyone who feels like writing up a complete walkthrough, here's another reason to do so. ;)

TSoG / Vote for TSoG!
January 11, 2011, 09:47:26 AM
Hey guys, RPGWatch is conducting a poll right now asking about your most anticipated RPG of 2011. Now, I won't tell you to go there right now and vote for Telepath RPG: Servants of God, but, uh, you know, if you should just so happen to go there and do that, it would make me happy. ;)

December 17, 2010, 06:16:49 PM
What are your 3 favorite songs in Telepath RPG: Servants of God?

(You can listen to the soundtrack here to help you make up your mind: http://www.sinisterdesign.net/TSoGMusicPlayer.html)
Personally, I'd probably pick God's Justice, Dead and Forgotten, and one other. Maybe Ghost Waltz.
General Discussion / Ordering games through BMT Micro
November 23, 2010, 09:54:36 PM
I just stumbled across this, and I'm pretty excited about it. I thought you might be too. It turns out that you don't actually need a credit card to pay for a game via BMT Micro!

QuoteFor your convenience, BMT Micro accepts the following methods of payment:

   * Credit Cards
   * Money Orders / Cashiers Checks
   * Personal Checks
   * Cash
   * PayPal™
   * VISA/MC Debit Cards from USA banks

Read the page for more details on how to pay via the non-credit card options:

QuoteMoney Orders / Cashiers Checks

Money orders, cashiers checks, and bank drafts are welcome. All software purchased using these methods will ship as soon as payment is received. Please remember that all payments should be in U.S. dollars unless arrangements are made in advance.

Personal Checks (US Funds)

Personal checks are welcome, but please allow up to two weeks for your check to clear the bank. All checks must be drawn on US banks and are subject to approval.

Make all checks payable to BMT MICRO and write FOR DEPOSIT ONLY on the reverse side of the check for your protection. In the lower-left edge of your check, please write in the name of the program you are registering. Please be sure US Checks are in US Dollars. Banks cannot clear checks in currency other than their own. Handwriting US Dollars on a foreign check will void the value of the check and we will have to return the check for replacement.

Cash

We gladly accept US Dollar currency in any amount. Check here for the current exchange rate http://www.xe.com/ucc/.

We do not recommend sending cash or currency in the mail. If you do choose this method, we will only be responsible for delivery if the mail, containing your registration and cash, requires a signature upon receipt by a BMT Micro employee.

Other Payment Methods

We're always adding additional payment methods. If you prefer or know of a payment method that would be more convenient for you, please let us know. We will make it a priority to make the arrangements.

For answers to your questions about how these work, contact BMT Micro.

Random Projects / Mystery Project

I spent last night and all of this morning coding the groundwork for a really awesome engine in AS3. I can't say too much about it just yet, but I think you guys are going to be very happy once I announce it. ;)

First thing's first, though: I have to finish TSoG!

Hey guys, I'm going on a cruise ship for one week starting tomorrow, and I won't have internet access for most of that time. Just letting y'all know, in case anyone wonders where I've disappeared to. ;) Once I get back, development on TSoG will continue!

General Discussion / Transferring saved games
May 12, 2010, 07:00:54 AM
Find your saved game files on your hard drive, copy them, and then paste them into the new folder Flash will create when you play the downloadable demo. Here is how you do it, step by step:

Step 1: Find your saved games

Games are all saved as .sol files.

To find your files in Windows, do the following:

 • Start a search of your hard drive
 • Turn on the "search hidden files" option (if you have Vista, it will call this "include non-indexed, hidden, and system files")
 • Search for TelepathRPG3*.sol (just like I've written it there) if you want to move saved games for Telepath RPG: Servants of God, PsyArena2_slot01*.sol if you want to move saved games for Telepath Psy Arena 2, or TT_SavedGame*.sol for Telepath Tactics.
 • This will give you the old saved game files that you want to transfer; keep their folder open until we're done with Step 3

Quote from: Ertxiemin Ubuntu (a Linux distribution) the save game is located on:
user home folder/.macromedia/Flash_Player/#SharedObjects/[letters and numbers]/www.sinisterdesign.net/TRPG3.swf
I assume that, since Mac is Unix, the location is similar to the above one.

Step 2: Start a new game and save it

 • Run the game on the computer that you want to transfer your saved games to
 • Start a new game and save it. We'll call this the new saved game. (It doesn't matter where or how you save--you're only doing this so Flash will create a folder for saved games on this computer)
 • In Windows, the new saved game will appear in a directory like this: C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\com.adobe.example.TSoG.9734F53159B682152B7C442264602A0CEA7C53C9.1\Local Store\#SharedObjects\TSoG.swf or this: C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\SinisterDesign.TelepathTactics\Local Store\#SharedObjects\TT.swf

Step 3: Bring over your old saves

 • Using the same technique you used in Step 1 above, find the folder containing the new saved game's .sol file–that's the new directory for your game's save files
 • Copy the old saved game files you want to use and paste them into the new folder

TSoG / Chances for the Peoples' Resistance
April 26, 2010, 09:56:25 AM
After reading this study on the characteristics of insurgencies that win and insurgencies that lose, I got to thinking: what are the chances for the Peoples' Resistance in TSoG? What do you think?

Random Projects / TV Tropes: Telepath RPG
April 25, 2010, 09:49:46 AM
Enterprising forums member Chocobo_Fan has created a TV tropes entry for Telepath RPG. Says Chocobo_Fan:

QuoteSorry it doesn't have very many tropes at the moment, but since it's a wiki it's sure to expand.

Wanna add? Go for it!

TSoG / TSoG Personality Poll
April 13, 2010, 08:39:19 PM
Based solely on each character's personality and dialog, which teammate in TSoG do you like best, and why? I'm curious to know who people like, and why they like them.

(I'll update the poll as new characters get added--you can change your vote.)

Oh, you guys. Y'all crack me up. All I can say is, it will be a cold day in hell before I put my name to a game called "Shadowling Nerf-sassin." :D
