I'm guessing it's because there's more to that series of side-quests than what we have now. They wouldn't let someone into their secret HQ just because he did one job for them.

There were innocents killed in the attack because he was using a woman as a human shield and firing at the Seals. They had every intention of capturing him, if you believe the official line. I'm glad that they fought back with full force and we didn't lose everyone.

And, personally, I think he's better dead than a prisoner, for the reasons others have stated.

Rahel's counter now displays as 'undefined', even when I've bought it.

That's weird. 5-8 are fully functional for me. When I attempt to load after a death they're not on the screen but that's about it.

The fact that he was hiding out speaks to how weakened al-Qaeda already was. This is largely symbolic. That said, it's a powerful one.

Already seen the conspiracy theories (http://www.examiner.com/strange-mysterious-facts-in-national/osama-bin-laden-dead-but-conspiracy-lingers) that we actually killed him years ago and just now released it. After the Truther/Birther stuff I shouldn't be surprised, but I'm surprised.

This is still happening for me. It also happens if I turn down Sharif and visit--the compound still appears on the map.

Until there's a source of renewable energy that can do a better job I'm all for it. And there's no way to force when that's going to happen. Spending a lot of money on a failed proposition like ethanol didn't help anyone (and the U.S. government is still doing it).

I don't think that's really in doubt at this point. Though in fairness, everyone breaks a lot of their campaign promises.

I suppose not entirely, as there were other European settlers. But mostly.

The reasons the American Revolution is interesting is because it wasn't the natives (Native Americans) breaking away from a colonizer. It was the members of the colony breaking away from the actual empire. In that respect the way that the rest of the former British Empire gained independence is completely different (it WAS the native population pushing for it).

I kind of suspected that much. My feeling, though, is that Cygnus will be more than a mere Psy, somehow. Perhaps under the delusion that he himself is a god.

So what happened when that someone attempted to eat the yellow orb? Did they become a Psy for the time they held it? (a weak one even?) Or...?
