Shadow Guardians were body guards of the Shadowling Queen. With the Queen now dead, who are they going to defend?

They still have a government don't they.

Maybe they could guard the leader of the Loyalists?

Good idea maybe there should be 2 types the original ones go to the loyalist and new ones for the government.

Good idea there. The guardians could still be enemies that way. But, who would the leader of the loyalists be?

Their is only one shadowling that I would like to see lead the loyalists; Noctus. Its propable too as the queen would propably revive him and since you don't kill him the second one their is a high chance of him being their leader.

I have a thread for that!
Right Here (http://sinisterdesign.net/forum/index.php?topic=339.0)!

Well 14 of us want to see him see and two don't so I wonder if we want to see him or not

Can we move the Noctus discussion to its appropriate thread?

That would be interesting, but how would they be different? Maybe after some guardians defected, the loyal ones were all given new masks to differentiate themselves from the Loyalists, who would be more easily identified as enemies?
What would their names be? Loyalist Guardian and Shadowling Guardian?
Title: Re: Shadow Guardians

How about Loyalist Commander. They could have a pair of horns growing on them and they could be light-blue. They could also bee given a maks that only covers their eye instead of one half of their body.

That's interesting...
"Can I join the Loyalist Commanders?"
"No."
"Why?"
"You only have one horn."

Maybe Shadowling Guardians should be stronger due to more access to trainers.

They would the same as Shadowling Guardians: Mind Blast, Shadow Blast, and Dark Vortex

Bandits and Mechanic Swordsmen have the same attacks, but Mechanic Swordsmen are stronger.

I guess they would be stronger due to the non-miltartisic government

If we are talking about the loyalist
How about their whole body covered in armor they should have more health and of course receive special training so they are more elite. But I think the Guardians  to loyalist ratio should be in favor of the loyalist because they are ones closer to the queen.

Hey I just got a an idea but i'm not sure if I should share it.

Loyalist Commandesr are in the time of TSoG when queen isn't alive. I said in the New Enemy Ideas that they were Guardians that survived the Shadow War and went on to command the loyalist. Nice idea though

Well what if the queen revived and revives General Tastidian and be the new leader of the Shadowling Loaylist. Attacks all of the shadow lands and somehow the hero gets the option to team up with them and help each other. To bad the hero will have to kill the queen again. :P

Why this idea may not work out:

-The Queen would make everyone mega farm again.

-It may bring back too much nostalgia.

-Wouldn't the Queen retake the Shadowlands had she returned?

What if everyone hates her and they kick her out. They would be the new shadow guardians.

I meant she would be powerful enough, especially with Tastidian by her side once more, to overthrow the current government.

Wouldn't most Guardians die when they were defending the queen?  There maybe more, but I think most were killed by the Hero and his team.

The Hero killed what? 4 of them. I think their has to be a bit more than 4 Shadowling Guardians. Their is also the possibility of Noctus (or any other shadowling) becoming a Loyalist Commander.

What if being back from the dead made her really weak. There should be more now since there is quite the government to protect .
Title: Re: Shadow Guardians

who would have enough power to bring her back from the dead?
Title: Re: Shadow Guardians

the gelf and their large collection of "soul capacitors" lol
And you thought there were just decorations when really the Gelf had a diabolical plot to bring back the queen. muhahahah.

As much as I would love to say "THE GELF ARE EVIL!?!" that brings into question, why would the Gelf want to bring back the Queen? Besides wouldn't their be a point in time where the person would be dead forever?

She brought herself back. My point is she never really died just near the edge of it.

Yes but if she never died don't you think she would overthrown the Somnus Government at one point or another!

This is her over throwing it, she'll go after, Yawah will rain down fire and hail, while the resistance sits back, pops some pop corn, and watch the superpowers go at it.
Title: Re: Shadow Guardians

Why would she go after Yawah? Its not like she is a god herself.....
Title: Re: Shadow Guardians

What is a god, other than one being with unexplainable power?
She might think she's a god if she can cheat death.
Besides... it'd be an ultimate showdown of "good" and "evil" the light and shadow. I can just see the flash video now... the darks shadows creeping over the land, at first mere wisps like smoke, then forming over the land creating a dark veil shrouding the land. an owl blinks it's eyes in astonishment. It's slow at first, but a light appears. In the midst of a group of cultists praying a single flame stand against the shadow(the camera zooms in on this). Suddenly the flame sparks forth, illuminating the faithful. The camera swings back as the beam of light bursts forth. Then, the avatar of Yawah himself appears in the center of this golden beam, and points a gold-plated, Ancient-Egyptian styled find towards the darkest of the void. (S)he calls out in a booming voice, "Come forth ye foul creature and face the light!" A dark balls appears in the midst of the desert camp. It starts to swirl, and spikes break out. The spikes even out forming a large ball of shadow, with two so sinisterally designed sparks appear. "You asked for the Night, and now she is here." (a gelf shouts "Whooh go Nelis!" in the background)
And the battle of a millennia begins. The camera zooms out to show Set eating a bag of popcorn, which is sitting atop a static-shield-table.

so um... back to the topic. Yeah, I'd like to see more Shadowling Guardians.

If you where at the edge of death and knows that the person who put you there could still possibly do it again wouldn't you want to get stronger raise a big army to fight back with?

Maybe she thought that it was simple luck, because I would think that she's pretty arrogant.

Back on topic: I would like to see Shadow Guardians, preferrably as enemies (Loyalists) because fighting against Dark Vortex is fun! (i.e. getting your units killed nine at a time is fun!)

Not unless you are smart not to get them killed and start using strategy also I train my units well so they can withstand it. But its true its fun getting hammered pretty hard and fight back with the same power. Ahh nostalgic battles .... Drift into a day dream
