I mean...it's an understandable compulsion, but I would like to get Together in Battle released before existence comes to an abrupt end.  ;)

Who's to say that the Reality Hole is malevolent? It has just as much a chance of kicking off a better paradigm as a worse one. Even if it ends existence as we know it, who's to say that's a bad thing? They've got unicorns over there in nonexistence, and all sorts of other cool things!
