Stamina bug

Hey everyone, I just started playing Together in Battle this week, and I am already obsessed with the strategy and character interactions. However, I have run into something very odd that I cannot explain.
During evening activities, my fighters sometimes lose a huge chunk of stamina out of nowhere. I am not sending them to train or spar or do anything that should cost energy. They are simply hanging out, cooking, or relaxing. Yet when the next day starts, a few of them suddenly drop to almost zero stamina as if they spent the whole night running laps around the camp. It keeps happening to the same two characters, even on days when they do nothing at all.
Morale is fine, they are not injured, they are not in any events that would drain them, and I even swapped their bedrooms just in case the location mattered. Still getting the same random stamina wipe every morning.
Has anyone here ever seen this before? I am starting to wonder if there is a hidden mechanic or if my save file is cursed. Any ideas would help before my entire roster collapses from exhaustion.

Hey skyler! Have you tried saving a log file and emailing it to me? I can take a look and see if there's something untoward going on.

I have seen this happen too, and it usually ends up being a hidden trait or status effect on those characters. Some backgrounds or passive quirks drain stamina overnight even if they are not assigned to activities. I would double-check their character details and recent story flags. It can also be a known bug in certain versions, so verifying your game version or reloading an earlier save might help.

Apologies if you're a real person, but this reads like a bot comment. Which "backgrounds or passive quirks" have you seen drain stamina?
