You mean, what are indie game developers? I agree with the definition that currently appears on Wikipedia:

Independent video games (commonly referred to as indie games) are video games created by individuals or small teams without video game publisher financial support. Indie games often focus on innovation and rely on digital distribution. Indie gaming has seen a rise in the last years, primarily due to new online distribution methods and development tools.

Right now, no. I know nothing of programming. I'm hoping to learn sometime in the near future. Maybe if Craig ever comes out with his book?

I'm a freelance game artist, so far I only work with DD, but with time I'll get more business, not to mention a salary.

Edit- I remembered it, They don't hook artists up with developers, possibly because the logistics would be difficult for long disttance partnerships, especially because I have almost no means of travel. ahh, se la vi.

I didn't realize we had quite a few game devs. I say what games have you made and by you I mean the both of you. This changes my pov.

I've been searching for a partnership, but I'm not a programmer. I'm an artist. I'm still "working" on my portfolio and by working I mean putting it off.
