Actually, the court system doesn't apply, because I actually have the authority to confiscate. Note that I say confiscate, not steal.

I walk out of jail after a string of apologies by the warden

Only to have the warden realize that they were missing keys to the prison along with several hundred dollars in cash. They stop you amd search you to find all of the missing things on your person. They then take you into custody and you wait in jail for your trial in 3 non-Duckling posts run by yours truly.

I didn't steal anything, and as I have no motive, and no criminal background, and I'm a minor, and I'm innocent, they let me go.

God takes the hill and gives it to me. And since it was and is his, He can do that.

But God takes it back and gives you a warning about confiscating it. Then he gives it to me and puts a curse so that those who steal it from me or my allies is cursed to lose it for a short while without hope of getting it back.

Well, Vishnu takes the hill on my behalf, and I guard it with a God-proof zone. Don't say She's all-powerful, because She's not.

I surround the hill with an improbability sphere that causes everything that all of you do regarding the hill to go horribly wrong.  Since none of you are capable of manipulating mystic essence (due to your lack of understanding of what it is).  This hill is forever mine.

I do something completely improbable and your improbability sphere melts down attempting to make my already improbable action even more improbable. I then set the hill on fire and scatter all but a small amount of it's ashes across the universe. The remaining ashes I put in a small bottle made of diamond.  Then I use my magic powers to harness pure energy to create an invisible warp sphere in the form of a tear in time-space around me and the bottle. Our hill.

I get a hill magnet, get all the pieces back from around the universe, and claim the Hill. Majority rules, while I protect it with El Hombre Siniestro.
